Celebrate and Honor the Earth!

Today, April 6th, is Earth Day in Sunrise!! The theme this year: PASS UP PLASTICS!

WHERE: Sawgrass Sanctuary, 237 North New River Circle

WHEN: April 6, 2024, 10 AM - 1 PM. (Actually, of course, every day should be EARTH DAY)!

LOTS OF FUN: Entertainment and interactive displays for all ages as we honor our EARTH and work together to protect and preserve. Visit the the Good and Green partner booths like Project Perch, Youth Environmental Alliance, Museum of Discovery and Science, Broward Beekeepers Association, Ag in the Classroom, Xavier Cortada Foundation, and the Piper High School Environmental Club.

Join me for the Tree-Planting Ceremony at 10:15 AM

Sunrise Utility Customers : Pick up one FREE tree per property! Dahoon Holly, Pigeon Plum, Fiddlewood, Firebush, Thatch Palm, and fruit trees such as Dwarf Mango varieties (“Nam Doc Mai” and “Honey Kiss”), Avocado (“Winter Mexican”), Lychee. The plant giveaway will be in Pavilion No. 1 while supplies last.
